User access levels

TrackPath provides three distinct user access levels to meet the needs of different roles within your organization. Below is an overview of each access level and its permissions.


Level 1: Supervisors and Novice managers

Permissions:

  • Cost Centers: Limited to a maximum of 3 cost centers to prevent misuse.
  • Attendance Tracking: Can track attendance and excused absences but cannot track other supervisors.
  • Timelines for Adding Occurrences:
    • Restricted to adding occurrences up to 7 days prior to the current date (varies by union and counseling obligations).
  • Counseling Documents:
    • Cannot print counseling sheets.
    • Cannot initiate work rule violations.
  • Profile Viewing:
    • Can view hourly profiles (work rule violations and attendance counseling only).
  • Item Management:
    • Cannot delete occurrences.
  • Call Offs:
    • Can see call-offs logged through the phone line.
    • Can log call-off occurrences.
    • Receive email notifications of call-offs made via the call-off line.
  • User and Account Management:
    • Cannot add users.
    • Cannot access the account, user, or reports tabs.

Level 2: Management team

Permissions:

  • Cost Centers: Unlimited cost centers access.
  • Attendance Tracking: Can track attendance and excused absences for all hourly associates.
  • Timelines for Adding Occurrences:
    • Same as Level 1 (limited to 7 days prior, varies by union and counseling obligations).
  • Work Rule Violations:
    • Can initiate work rule violations (requires Level 3 approval before printing).
  • Counseling Documents:
    • Can print all counseling sheets (dependent on account settings for approval requirements).
  • User and Account Management:
    • Can add Level 1 and Level 2 users.
  • Call Offs:
    • Receive email notifications of call-offs made via the call-off line.
    • Receive reminders to issue counseling sheets upon creation and at 3-day and 6-day intervals.
  • Reports: Full access to view reports.

Level 3: HR, Account leads & Senior leadership

Permissions:

  • Account Oversight: Full access to oversee the entire account.
  • Attendance Tracking: Can add occurrences up to 12 months in the past without restrictions.
  • Item Management: Can delete all items and correct profiles.
  • Counseling Documents:
    • Can alter counseling levels, archive dates, and rolling calendars (e.g., for grievance settlements).
    • Receive notifications for counseling expiration 1 day before and on the expiry date (can be customized).
  • Call Offs:
    • Default setting disables notifications for call-offs (can enable as needed).
  • Account Settings: Full access to the account tab, including:
    • Counseling expiry settings.
    • Approval workflows.
    • Occurrence points thresholds.
    • Call-off line settings.
  • Approvals: Can approve all terminations.
